Publications
A new edition of the popular high-intermediate level series - Passages - has been published. The new edition reflects feedback from many teachers around the world.
Professor Jack Richards and Professor Anne Burns (Macquarie University) are editing a book to be called The Cambridge Guide to Second Language Teacher Education, to be published by Cambridge University Press. The book contains some 30 invited chapters in which experts in second language teacher education provide overviews of key areas of research, theory, and practice in the field.
Jack Richards has written the forward to Teaching Reading and Writing, recently published by Pearson/Longman, Singapore.
Dr. Richards will be featured in a new DVD teacher training series published by Pearson/Longman, New York. He is the content-expert on teaching listening comprehension. The filming for his component was completed in Singapore in January 2008.
