Dear colleagues,

Many thanks to all of you who attended my presentations in Mexico, Columbia, Peru and Brazil in April and May 2005. I was deeply touched by the warm reception I received during my tour.

It was a great thrill for me to be able to speak to a total of 8000 teachers and coordinators during the tour, to meet so many of you personally, and to get such enthusiastic feedback from you.

Many of you travelled great distances to meet me, some coming from as far as 700 kilometres away. I greatly enjoyed my time with you and the opportunities I had to visit such special parts of the world.

I wish you every success and look forward to meeting you again on my next tour.
