To support participation in RELC's specialized programs, the Jack Richards scholarship has been established at RELC in Singapore. This provides support for one course member each year from a SEAMEO member country, to attend the RELC Diploma in Applied Linguistics.

...in the Philippines

To provide support for teacher education in the Philippines, the following Professorial chairs have been funded by Professor Richards:

  • The Jack Richards Professorial Chair at De La Salle University

  • The Jack Richards Professorial Chair at Philippine Normal University

  • The Jack Richards Professorial Chair at the University of the Philippines, Quezon City
