 summer concerts at tiromoana
During the New Zealand summer, Jack Richards sponsors a series of house concerts at his New Zealand home, to raise funds for the Gisborne Music Competition, an annual competition for orchestral players. The competition is now in its 20th year and attracts some 60 young competitors every year from New Zealand, Australia and further afield. Ticket sales from the concerts are donated to the competition, matched by a donation from Jack Richards.
